It's official! Nathan is a big THREE year old.
We started the birthday traditions the night before his birthday by decorating his bedroom door with streamers. Mads asked to be in charge of the decorating this year. She did a fabulous job running the tape and helping us get everything ready for the birthday boy!
The finished product! Unfortunately little dude woke up too early and I didn't get a picture of him coming out of his room through the streamers. He was totally excited, though, and kept telling us about the streamers on his door!
Birthday balloon! Mads and Daddy went and picked the balloon this year. A giant Mike Wazowski! This is going to be tough to beat on future birthdays!

8:14AM - Nathan officially turns THREE! Such an adorable three year old, I tell you! :)

A big thank you hug for Mads - she gave Nate a bag full of Monster's Inc fun!

Then it was time to get outside and ride that new bike! First Nate helped Daddy pump up the tires.
Mads took a turn, too.

The most excitement of the day came when we headed to Appleton to watch Monsters University!! We met Aunt Jill, Claire and Nick at the movie theater. Popcorn, and Icee, and Mike Wazowski. It couldn't have been any better!
The birthday boy was pretty pooped after the movie and he rode home like this:
Then it was time for birthday dinner at Red Robin - and the birthday sundae!
