Lifest 2013 was held July 11-13. Andrew and I were blessed to have been given event tickets to us as a Christmas gift from my mom. The kids are young enough that they get in for free!
We went two nights. First on Thursday to see Andrew's favorite band, Third Day, followed by one of the kid's favorite artists, Toby Mac.
We enjoyed some cheese curds before the shows. They were good, but not the best - we all know where to find the best curds!
How great is this picture?! Nate was lounging on the blanket, apparently the sun was too much to handle!
Watching Third Day:
Mads and Daddy singing along:
Nathan loved his Toby Mac sign that he got. He was singing and waving his sign. Too cute!
Friday was the day the kids had been waiting for - time for their absolute most favorite band ever - NEWSBOYS!
Lonestar was the first act, we chilled in our spot and waited for the main show!
We also snacked on some shaved ice. The kids had multicolored tounges!
Mads spent some time coloring while she was waiting.
I don't have any pictures of the kids during the Newsboys, we were too busy rocking out! Both kids are convinced that they yelled loud enough that the band sang "God's Not Dead" just for them!
We had a blast - looking forward to next year and hoping that Matthew West will be back! (He's Mommy's favorite!)
