On Saturday evening we headed up to celebrate Nick's 7th birthday! I can't believe that he's 7 already!

Nick had a Star Wars themed birthday party. After the presents were opened and the cake was eaten, it was time to watch some Star Wars movies. Nathan found a cozy spot right next to Nick:

Sunday was Mother's Day! I was pampered all day long! It started with the kids helping Andrew make cinnamon french toast. It was YUMMY! We then went to church and then to the grocery store. We picked up items for a picnic lunch. After we got home and packed up the picnic we rode our bikes to Menominee Park for a picnic lunch.

The kids had fun running around and releasing energy. (Nathan slept until 7:45 on Monday morning - that's an hour and a half later than usual!)
When we got home from our picnic Mads wanted to take me for a pedicure. She, of course, got one too.
I had a fantastic Mother's Day and feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful family!
