It's a Spa-rty!

Is there a better way to spend a snowy day than with a SPA-RTY?  I think NOT!  :)
Mads was able to celebrate her birthday a few weeks early with her friends on Tuesday, December 29th.  We don't have any open weekends in January so we picked a day during Winter Break to have her party.  She invited four girls over for fun and relaxation!  Daddy was at work, Nate went to play with friends and Dash went to Charlie's.  Lily stayed home with us so it truly was a girls day!!

Mads helped to get the house ready and we turned it into Spa de Mads!
We had a decorate your own flip flops station:
 Create your own lip balm:
 "Cotton Balls" to snack on:
 And of course Pedicures!
It's not a spa without champagne!
Once the girls all arrived they decided to play for a bit first.  Once they came back upstairs it was time to decorate flip flops!
 Look at these beauties!
The girls kept asking for more and more champagne - I ran out!  I had to send out for reinforcements!  Luckily Gramma J was able to make an emergency trip to the store for us!
These girls had so much fun spending the day together!
For lunch we had spa-wiches, fruit and veggies:
After lunch we made our lip balms and painted our toes.  Lily even got painted too!  (She must've heard NOSE, not TOES!)
After lots more shenanigans downstairs it was time for cake and ice cream!  Nail polish and lip gloss, perfect for a spa party!
 Cheers to Mads!
She's going to be EIGHT!!  :(
She blew all the candles out with one big breath!
 YUM!
 Fun with photoprops!  Cucumber eyes:
 Eye mask and hair turban:
 Smoochy lips and flip flops!
 A relaxed group of girls!
So, I may have let the girls break a Josephs household rule...  pillow fight!  (Closely supervised!)  :)

 Crazy girls!
The time flew by fast and before we knew it the party was over!   Look at these beautiful toes in some gorgeous flip flops!
And well moisturized lips - with attitude!
I got a selfie with the girls before the party was done!  :)
These girls are so amazing!  They were so respectful of each other, played together so nicely and even cleaned up the house before they left!  I had such a fun time with the girls and am so grateful that Mads has such a wonderful group of friends!
