Saturday, December 12th was the Green County YMCA Toyland Invitational Swim Meet.
Mads was rocking her new suit and sweatpants, gifts from Gramma J:

First up was the 25 Meter Butterfly.
On your mark:
She doesn't like fly much, but she gave it her best!
5th Place! 33.37 Seconds
Next up, 25 Meter Freestyle - Ready to go:
SWIM MADS!
And she TOOK OFF!
An amazing job!
She WON THE HEAT!
Amelia won her heat, too! Super swimmers!
Mads turned in her heat winner card and got a stuffed reindeer!
Look at that time! 24.15 seconds! 6th Place
3rd Event - 25 Meter Breaststroke.
Unfortunately she was disqualified. No biggies, she gave it her best!
Her 4th event was a nail biter! Mads was in lane two with her friend Amelia in lane three.

Amelia ended up slightly faster! Such a good race! :)
Mads got a 6th place finish - 29.05 seconds
Mads last event was the 100 Meter Freestyle Relay. She was the last leg of the relay and swam hard.
Her team came in 2nd! 1:38.42 seconds

What a fabulous meet! Mads ended up with two 6th place finishes, a 5th place finish and a 2nd place finish! She also cut 5 seconds off her backstroke and SEVEN off her Freestyle!! So proud of this peanut! She may be small but she is STRONG! The best part about the meet, though, was that SHE HAD FUN! :)
