Our tree loves to hold on to it's leaves until the last possible second. On Monday the tree was completely full, and by yesterday it was empty! What does this really mean? LEAF PILE!!!
After picking Mads up from school we went out to rake up a big pile of leaves for the sole purpose of jumping in them.
The kids were so excited. They almost couldn't wait until I accumulated enough to make a significant pile!
Taking the first run at the pile:

After a few more running jumps the kids stayed still enough to make leaf angels.
Then I buried them in leaves!
and they came rising from the leaves like scary monsters!
Nathan was roaring as he came out!

Once the kids were done with the leaf pile I continued with my raking duties, moving them toward the street. Andrew got home and we finished up pretty quickly. Then, of course, we're having 20 mph winds with 30 mph gusts today! So much for keeping the leaves out of our yard! LOL!
