Amelia's Five Month Birthday

Yesterday was our beautiful girl's five month birthday.  We were able to get to Monroe on Monday night and spend time with most of our Monroe family between Monday and Tuesday.  Daddy was able to switch his work schedule so that he could come down as well - which was awesome because we had lots of things to do with Amelia!

First we gave her five beautiful pink roses.   Mads and Nate worked together to give the roses to their sister:

Five roses for our beautiful Amelia.

After telling our baby girl Happy Birthday we got to work decorating for Christmas!

We decorated a little tree with beautiful pink garland, pink ornaments and a bright pink star on top!

 Mia's special Christmas tree:
Grandma Mamie also made an absolutely gorgeous stocking for Amelia.  We found a nice garden stake to place in the ground to hold the stocking close to the ground, hopefully keeping the wind from blowing it around too much.
Amelia is ready to celebrate Christmas!
The final set-up.  Stocking and tree and two angel solar lights.  Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Marie gave Mia the clear one.  We found an angel solar light that we placed for her as well.  We also have one in our garden.  To see the lights flickering last night in our garden and knowing that the same lights were shining over Amelia gave my heart a sense of peace.  It's almost like a telephone to Mia's spot in Monroe!

We love you so much sweet baby girl!
