Turkey Lurkey! :)

Our Thanksgiving started with our third annual Turkey Trot.  The weather was FABULOUS!  The observed high was 62 degrees on Thanksgiving!  How wonderful is that?

The crew ready to rock & roll!
Thumbs up from Mads!  She's ready to Trot!
Thumbs up from Nate!  He's ready to ride!  :)
Yep, this is how Nathan Turkey Trotted this year...  he surfed it!
Walking up to the finish line!
YAY!  Mads walked the entire two mile route!  Fantastic work!

After the Trot we headed up to Green Bay to have Thanksgiving lunch with Grandma Mamie, Aunt Jill, Uncle Eric, Claire & Nick.  The kids had a blast playing together.  They completely destroyed the basement.  (I should've gotten a picture of that!)

Nick had his class bear with him for the holiday, so all the other kids brought their Build-A-Bears as well.

 Adorable kids!
Thanksgiving Day Cheers!
 Too cute!

We left Green Bay around 3:00 so that we could be back to Oshkosh around 4:00.  We met Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Marie at our house and then we headed over to Court Tower to serve a Thanksgiving meal with our church.  Court Tower is an apartment building run by the Housing Authority for people with disabilities or financial needs.  It was great to see how truly excited and blessed they felt to have the meal provided for them!

We hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!
