The van we got in 2009 was getting towards the end of it's life span. We decided that we should probably be getting a new van before we ended up stranded somewhere. Since we had time and weren't in a rush we had been keeping an eye out on the prices of newer, low mileage minivans for a couple of months. Andrew came across a great price on a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country in late September. Andrew went down to Saukville with Nathan one Tuesday night while Mads & I were at her school book fair. They brought the van home and I was able to test drive it. The price was right and they were offering a decent price for our old van, so we drove back on Wednesday the 26th to sign the paperwork.
Since we signed over the title on our old T&C and they had some work to finish on the new T&C we were sent home with a loaner Mercury Mountaineer. Yuck. I would never buy one of those!
The kids each gave the gold T&C a good-bye hug. Mads went on her first long distance road trip (to Myrtle Beach) in the old van.
Nathan was brought home from the hospital in the old T&C.
BIG SQUEEZE! Thanks for the memories 2003 Gold Chrysler Town & Country.
The work was finished up on our new T&C while I was in Mexico. Andrew the kids returned the Mountaineer and came home with our new 2011 Silver Chrysler Town & Country. We now have Stow & Go seats, power doors, power lift gate, roll down middle windows and some pretty sweet MPG compared to the old van!
Say hello to the new van!
Pretty spiffy! :)
