Friday, January 14th was a big day!
Mads got to go to the dentist for the first time. Ever since I went to the dentist back in August we've been talking to Mads about her going as well. We told her that the dentist would look at her teeth to make sure they were healthy as well as clean them and make them "Sparkle Teeth" for her birthday party.
Mads was so excited to go and kept asking when it was her turn. Finally the big day came. She couldn't wait until 9:15! (Good thing we made a morning appointment!) Once our turn came she hopped right into the chair and did everything they asked her to do. She kept her mouth open wide and they were able to clean her teeth and check the strength of all 20 of her teeth!
Getting ready! Mads was very excited about the "napkin!"
Learning how the polisher works:
Getting those "Sparkle Teeth!"
All done with the cleaning, now waiting for the dentist. What a little goofball!
Look at those SPARKLE TEETH! :)
Later that same afternoon Mads had her three-year old check up with Julie, the nurse practitioner. Mads had a hearing test that went well along with the basic check up stuff.
They weighed Mads with all of her clothes on AND her shoes and she came in a whopping 29 pounds. That's the 25th percentile. She was 36 inches tall (also with shoes on) which is also the 25th percentile. What a peanut!
