On Saturday, August 20th - it FINALLY happened - Nathan lost his first tooth!!
He had been waiting and waiting for his turn to lose a tooth as most of his friends have lost theirs. When we saw the dentist in mid July he didn't even have a wiggly tooth, so it was surprising that only a month later it was loose and eventually came out!
Nate is like Mads, his next tooth was already popped through behind the baby tooth. It's already about a quarter of the way up!
Putting his tooth in his special Tooth Fairy pillow:
Tucked in for the night with the tooth nearby!
Dashie even slept with Nate to make sure the tooth was safe!
The next morning Nate woke up and found that the Tooth Fairy did come by and she left a dollar!!
What a big kid!! Now he's really ready for 1st grade! :)
