On Sunday August 17th we made a trip up to Green Bay to spend time with Grandma Mamie, Aunt Jill, and cuzzies Claire and Nick. It was a super nice day so we spent the afternoon at Bay Beach!
Nate and Daddy ready to find some sweet rides!
Our first stop was for the big kids. Daddy, Aunt Jill, Claire and Nick went on the Zippin Pippin. Mads didn't quite make it to the top of the height mark so she decided to stay back this year with Nate. She said she might think about riding it next year. :) You can see the 4 noodleheads in the back of of the coaster:
We tried to stay with some of the "bigger kid" rides since Claire and Nick are a bit too big for the kiddie rides. Nate was super excited about the swings, and Nick went with him, but you can see that this was probably the last year for swings for Nick!
When the swings were done we hurried over to the scrambler to watch Aunt Jill, Daddy, Claire and Nick. By the time we got there Nate decided he wanted to ride and then Nick followed suit. So we threw the boys over the fence and got them in line with the rest of the group. (Yes, we were THOSE people...)
The girls chose a seat together:
And so did the boys:
Look at them go!
Look at all the fun they were having! Claire gives it a big THUMBS UP!
No trip to Bay Beach is complete without a carousel ride. Nate picked the deer and Nick rode next to him on the big horse.
Mads jumped on the dalmatian and Claire was on another horse.
SMILES!
We only had a couple hours to be at Bay Beach with the cuzzies so we weren't able to ride many rides - but we had a FABULOUS time!
