Dying Easter Eggs!

Last night we had our Easter Egg Dying project with the kids.  We tried two different dye techniques.  First we tried the basic dye, stickers and white crayon.
Nathan gave it a great effort!
Dropping the egg into the dye cup:
 A look of shenanigans!  :)

Mads worked very diligently on her eggs:
Other than the regular dyed eggs, we tried out the shaving cream and food dye technique that has been floating around on Pinterest.

Mads gave it a try first:

Yay for messy shaving cream hands!
Then Nate gave it a shot:

 Green fingers!
I have to say that I really had fun with the shaving cream method.  It was super easy, super cheap, and yummy smelling!  ;)  They turned out pretty neat, too:
Our regular dyed eggs:
And the whole bunch of 24 beautiful eggs!
Next up will be Easter in Monroe!  Happy Easter everyone!
