Beating the cold with a trip to Monkey Joe's!

It has been so bitterly cold here this week.  There were days that the high temperature didn't even hit 5 degrees, so with wind chill it felt like -20 on the warmer days!  On Sunday we decided to brave the crowds and head to Monkey Joe's in Appleton for the kids to blow of some steam.  We let Madeline invite a friend to come along too.  First we did lunch and then we headed on over to MJ's.  The crowd was much more manageable than I expected, which was nice.  Andrew still thought it was a bit nerve wracking, though!  :)

I took a few pictures, turn out they were mostly from the slides.  It was easiest to get pictures of the kids on the slides, otherwise they were in, under, or through things and couldn't get a decent picture!

First thing the kids tackled was the Big Slide!

Heading up:
 Mads comes down!
And Nate comes down.  He was able to do everything by himself this trip, which was nice compared to the last time we came and he needed a lot of assistance.  Nate could've kept going all day long if we would've let him!
Teamwork to get Nate over one of the obstacles!
Another slide, this one a touch smaller, but faster!
Look at that huge smile on Maddie's face!
 Same thing with Nate!
 Weeee!
We played at Monkey Joe's for about two hours, I'm sure the kids would have been happy to keep playing until close, but we had to be evil parents and make them head home for a nap!  :)  It was a fun trip to burn some energy in this crazy cold weather!

Thanks for stopping by!
