On Wednesday we had the second to last swimming lesson. Unfortunately Nathan wasn't able to swim as he was having some belly issues and we didn't want a blow-out to occur while in the pool! Mads had a good time and did most of her swimming on her own with the teacher nearby. She was a bit afraid to jump into the pool when it was time to jump from the side, but she told me that she won't be afraid next time! :)
These pictures aren't the best. The pool Mads swims in isn't near any benches and the closest bench is behind the lifeguard stand, which is why all the poles are in the pictures!
Getting ready to jump in:
Wouldn't do it alone, needed some help:
On Friday we did some more yard work. We had to run to Menard's to get more mulch. While we were there I showed Mads the super sweet playground area they have in the Garden Center. They have 4 or so play systems (that they sell) set up and the kids can play on them. It was heaven for Mads!
Peeking out of the ridiculously priced playhouse! :)
Sunday was a special day. It was Celebration Sunday at church. Mads isn't really supposed to be in Sunday School yet, but the lady who provides the nursery care had a baby 5 weeks ago and since then Mads has been able to go to Sunday School. Mads learned two songs and a poem to recite in front of the congregation. She knew all of the words and did a great job!
**There is video of her performance in the post below this one**
Mads may be small, but she gave the pinata a good hit!
Candy rush!
Nathan wasn't able to take part in the pinata, but he did look cute sitting in the grass! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
