Since my last update Nathan has been on the move. He's able to pull himself up and stand (sometimes with support, and sometimes all by himself.) He's found that he can find lots of things to play with.
His new morning routine is to eat breakfast and then play with the magnets on the fridge!
Nathan found that Maddie's chalkboard is quite fun, and unfortunately that chalk is not tasty!
We had swimming lessons again on Wednesday the 20th. It was my turn to swim with Nathan. We had a blast!
Nathan's favorite part was the floating "surfboard"
Laying or sitting, both ways are fun!
Mads was a champ at her lessons. She didn't know it, but the teacher let go and Mads did the swimming all by herself!! (Look closely, the teacher isn't helping!)
On Thursday night we did some Easter egg dyeing! Mads was able to do most of the dyeing work this year! Our eggs turned out wonderfully!
Nathan played with plastic eggs and supervised.
The happy men!
Mads is ready to put some stickers on!
Such beautiful colors!
Ready to take to Easter dinner!
On Easter morning Mads found a note from the Easter Bunny. He knew that Mads and Nathan had stayed at Gramma Jackie's house so he hid eggs and a basket for both kids. Mads had fun finding all the treasures for her and Nathan!
Nathan's eggs rattled!
On the move to get the rest of his eggs.
Mads had to search high and low
She found her basket!
Helping Nathan look through his goodies:
Easter kids!
Their baskets were the coolest. Maddie's had a tutu wrapped around it while Nathan's basket was in a hat!
Maddie got a special egg from Honey at lunch time. The egg broke apart and there were chocolate ducks and chicks inside!
After Easter lunch at Honey's house we went over to Cousin Melissa's house for the annual candy hunt!
Nathan got some help from Grandpa Jeff:
Mads did a good job of finding the hidden candy!
After the candy hunt the cousins had some time to play together. I guess they were more "cleaning" rather than playing! :)
The boy cousins, Landon and Nathan. (Nathan has his eye on the candy...)
After all the candy was found the kidlets searched for the hidden eggs and Easter baskets.
Nathan just chilled in the grass and supervised.
Maddie found her basket!
Happy Easter hunter!
Nathan's basket was full of fun!
What's cooler than a noise maker?!
We had a great Easter and were so glad that we were able to see all of our family!
Easter Sunday was also Nathan's TEN month birthday! This little man only has two short months until he is ONE!
Monday morning was pretty exciting. Maddie found that the Easter Bunny left her a surprise at our house. She got a new bike!
