September 1st was finally upon us, the day that Mads has been counting down to since June - The First Day of School!
The kids were up and at 'em early and went through their morning routine without too much rustiness!
Once the basics were covered we jumped into the First Day of School Traditions, starting with their official autographs!

The kids will be riding the bus to our fabulous babysitter's house every day after school. They rode the bus to Kim's after school where I met them to surprise them with a celebration snack. But first, a picture of the kids with their buddies Kaylie and Avery:

So proud of these two munchkins! We know that they will work hard this year, but still have lots of fun! :)
