On Sunday, December 7th we started a new tradition of Cookie Day with Aunt Kimmy! We've done cookie days before with just us, but now that we're in Monroe we can share the fun with everyone!
We started out by making Grandma Honey's famous Melting Moments. Hopefully we made them as well as she did. <3 p="">
While Aunt Kimmy and I were working on the Melting Moments, Andrew and the kids were rolling out some gingerbread men. Of course it's not cookie day unless there is a flour fight!! :)
Nate wasn't much of a fan...
Mads was a trooper!
Once Nate was able to throw some flour at me it thought it was really funny!
No biggies now! :)
Back to serious work, cutting out those gingerbread men!
Mads and Nate came over to help with the second batch of Melting Moments. Perfectly round!

While the Moments were baking we started cutting out the cut out cookies.

What a team - Nate pops the beater into Mads mouth while she separates orange sprinkles! ;)
Best part of cookies is definitely the beaters!

Apparently we were rocking out while decorating! :)
For the Melted Snowmen cookies we had a sweet assembly line rocking. Kim and I would put the melted chocolate on, Andrew popped the eyes on (naturally), Mads put on the nose, and Nate finished them off with their hat.

Ta-da! Finished products! Gingerbread Men, Ladyfingers, Pretzel and kiss bites, Cutouts, Melting Moments, and the Melted Snowmen! :)
We had such a fun day! Looking forward to doing it again next year!
