Tree Trimmin'

On Sunday, December 1st we decorated our beautiful tree.  The kids did most of the decorating as they're now old enough to do a fantastic job!

The very first ornament we hung this year was placed by Madeline.

It was Amelia's letter "A"

Nate hung the second ornament right next to the "A"

It was Amelia's special ornament with a pink rose, angel, and letter "A" charm:

Then the kids went to town on decorating with the rest of the ornaments:

The final step was to place the "Amelia angel" as it is now called.  Mads helped plug it in:

and Nate helped to place it atop the tree:

Perfect!

We also hung our stocking with care.  

We have a new addition to the stocking this year.  A beautiful pink stocking for Amelia, made with love by Grandma Mamie and Aunt Jeanne.

This Christmas season is going to be very busy and jam-packed with activities, but up next is making Christmas Cookies!  :)
