Thursday, December 19th was our sweet Amelia's six month birthday. Can you even believe it? Our beautiful girl would be a "half" finger already. This birthday was probably the most broken my heart has felt since the first two weeks after Mia became an angel. The dreams we had for the Christmas season with Amelia are hard to ignore. We would be enjoying watching her try to sit up unassisted and play with tissue paper, smile and giggle at new toys, play with her cousins, wear a gorgeous new Christmas dress and add a precious new spark to all of the traditions and festivities. It's hard to stand in a cemetery in December feeling the cold swirling around while snow covers all of the beautiful stones nearby instead of watching our dreams become a reality.
I went alone on Thursday. I just wanted to stand with my little girl and have some Mommy time with her.
I added her 6 pink roses to her already beautiful Christmas items:
Daddy sent along a special bracelet that he made just for her. (You can see it under the tree)
6 roses for our beautiful Amelia.
Happy Birthday, sweet sweet girl. We miss you so much and wish that you were here with us every single day. We love you!
