Teeth! & Dance Class!

I can't believe that another week has flown by! It was a big week for Nathan - he got his first tooth on Thursday! It was followed quickly by the second popping through on Friday. What a big boy!

Saturday morning, bright and early, Mads started her dance classes. They're given through the Park & Rec Department and they go for 6 weeks. We told her at the beginning of the week that she would be going and everyday, all day long, it was all she could talk about! Maddie's class teaches her ballet, jazz and baton. In her first class she learned ballet's first position, plies and releves a few jazz moves and how to hold the baton and a little bit of how to twirl it. I can't wait to see how well she'll do after a few more weeks and some practice.She needs a little practice, but she said that she had a "very fun" time!

After dance class (we were home by 9:10!) we had lots of time to play until Daddy got home from work. I showed the kids how to have a fun time playing with boxes. Here is the Josephs Express. All aboard!

Toot! Toot!

Sunday we were supposed to go down to Madison for cousin Gavin's birthday party. Unfortunately the party was cancelled due to the freezing rain and slick roads. It was snowing slightly here and even less north of us, so after church we headed up to New London and spent the day playing with Claire and Nick.

It did end up snowing 8 or so inches overnight, so the schools in the area were closed yesterday. Our office manager actually ended up closing our offices so we got an unexpected snow day! Other than Andrew going out to snow blow we just stayed inside and played all day. Andrew and I also got a few random tasks completed around the house that we just hadn't gotten to yet. We both agreed that it would be nice to get a "snow" day now and again in the summer so that we could get all kinds of landscaping work done that our yard so desperately needs!

Here are two more pictures of the kids. Mads and Nathan are really best buds. Mads loves to watch out for Nathan and make sure that he's happy. The second he makes a squawk Mads is right there.

This picture is absolutely adorable. On our way to church Mads said she was holding Buddy's hand. I turned around and saw this. You can even see Nathan in the mirror looking at his sister. So precious!
