This was the summer - the summer Nate wanted to learn to ride his bike without training wheels. Since Andrew was sidelined with his cast we had to wait til later in the summer. When Mr. Luke & Miss Dianne came to visit in July Mr. Luke helped give Nate his first try at riding without training wheels.
We have a fantastic court that gave Nate a great place to practice. Our neighbor, Alex, came out to help by running beside Nate:

Nate wasn't strong enough to get started by himself, so once Andrew was cast and walking boot free he was able to help Nate practice a bit more.
On Labor Day Nate was officially on two wheels!
