February 7th was the 8 & Under All-Star swim meet held at the Williams Center at UW-Whitewater. Mads was feeling pretty good about the meet... she was a machine and swam two relays - the Mixed 100 Yard Medley, and the Mixed 100 Yard Free. She also swam 50 Yard Free, 25 Yard Fly, 25 Yard Back, and 25 Yard BREAST.
She was excited going into the meet - Thumbs up!
Mads started her 100 Mixed Medley team off with backstroke:
Her Relay team got 10th Place!
Her 25 Yard Butterfly came in 19th.
Then it was breast. This powerful little Pickle had been working SO hard since she was disqualified at the Toyland Meet in December. She ROCKED it!
And she came in 14th Place! She was beyond pumped!

This is Mads showing of her 14th Place ribbon for Breaststroke. She could not have been happier! She knew how hard she worked and was so excited not only to ribbon, but that she swam a legal stroke and didn't get disqualified!
