Our Easter activities started on Tuesday, March 31st when we were able to dye eggs together. First we set up the dye cups,
and took a quick group picture:
Then we set the kids loose! Mads always loves using the crayon to write on the eggs:
and Nate gave it a try too:
Soaking in the dye:
Two dozen eggs with only one casualty. Our finished product!
Easter was on Sunday, April 5th. I had to work that day, so we woke up early to get dressed for the day and see what the bunny brought. Mads found her basket under the quilt rack first.
It took Nate a little longer to find his basket in a kitchen cabinet:

We went to see Miss Amelia and found that the bunny had visited her, too.
He brought her a pink ducky and a pretty garden birdie.
Our three bunnies!
It was off to work for me while Andrew and the kids went to church with Grandpa Jeff & Grandma Marie. Then they had brunch at Turner Hall with Grandma Jackie, Aunt Kimmy, Uncle Jakey, Michael, Aunt Barb and cousins Ryan, Lisa and Andy.
A great day with family and Easter is such a wonderful reminder of the sacrifice given to us by Jesus for our unending love and grace.
