Thursday was a big day at our house - it was Madeline's 4 and a HALF birthday! We celebrate half birthdays with a treat and Madeline chose Cotton Candy ice cream with sprinkles from Cold Stone for her treat!
She's 4 1/2!
The Half Birthday girl was gracious enough to share her treat with Nathan:
On Thursday afternoon we went to Lifest to see Matthew West and the Newsboys perform. It was a pretty toasty day so we all shared a shaved ice treat.

We saw a couple of groups perform in the kids' tent as well. Nathan just had fun climbing on the ropes...
While we were waiting in between shows the kids did some coloring:

Matthew West:
The Newsboys were the night show. The kids enjoyed some cotton candy while watching the show! (At this point I just realized how much sugar they ate that day!!)
They both konked out before the end of the show. The only way we could get them and all of our gear back to the van was to pile them into the wagon. They kept on sleeping!
Random picture - Mads has been working on writing her alphabet and is able to write all of the letters out in order. Had to take a picture of her great work! :)
